NOSPARO has 3 carbonitrided balls underneath the key entrance, to protect it from drilling.
NOSPARO is a cartridge coated by a thermoformed rubber sheath for the barrel internal protection.
Equipped with an extra long neck key so as not to interfere with other parts of the weapon, NOSPARO is a closing/ opening expansion system that works with a special pliers, operated only through the key.
NOSPARO has a very wide key handle to ensure maximum clamping force. It is resistant to oils and lubricants used for weapon cleaning.
NOSPARO underwent static and dynamic testing by the BANCO NAZIONALE DI PROVA for portable firearms and commercial ammunition.
Make sure that the cartridge chamber is empty, clean and free from lubricating oils. This operation must be carried out in accordance with the weapon owner’s manual.
Insert the NOSPARO lock into the cartridge chamber, on the breech side as if it was a normal cartridge.
Push the NOSPARO lock inside the barrel for 5/6 mm.

Turn the key clockwise until the maximum possible twist is reached (during the tests at the Banco Nazionale di Prova the lock has been tightened to 3Nm). Turn the key anti-clockwise until you hear the "click" sound or alternatively until you reach the alignment mark (0 degrees). Pull out the key, repeat the operation in case of double or overlapped barrel shotgun.
Close the gunshot , shoot a blank shot to avoid keeping the firing pins armed.
The Banco Nazionale di Prova is equipped with a Ballistic Laboratory for carrying out resistance and ballistic tests on protection devices.
NOSPARO strengthens the obligations prescribed by the Italian law 110/75 art 20 and 20 bis with regard to the safety of weapons and people.
